Emma will lead you through her story, reading excerpts from the 95min show, as examples of where she feels an Oncology Social Worker could have helped her to navigate the dynamics, and even smoothed the path.
Presenter:
Emma Jarrett, writer and speaker, was diagnosed with Advanced Breast Cancer in 2016. What she experienced and learned led her to writing a solo show, Breastless, to foster understanding, to promote discussion between healthcare providers, and to demonstrate the impact on mind, body and spirit – that breast cancer is not just a physical diagnosis.
Born in England, Emma has lived in western Canada for over 20 years.
