Topic: Fear of Cancer Recurrence: Features and Management in the Cancer Clinic

Fear of cancer recurrence (FCR) is a common experience in cancer survivorship and can occur frequently within the cancer clinic. Understanding the nuances of FCR is important for clinicians, as it can help guide treatment decision making in supporting patients shift from unhelpful reactivity towards more adaptive responses. This talk will explore the dynamics of FCR and its treatment, using research and examples from clinical practice. General guidelines will also be explored to help in responding to FCR within the clinic consultation.
