Victoria has been involved with OSWA, now OSWANZ, since its inception. She was President from 2011 to 2013 and remains involved in OSWANZ as a Senior Advisor. Victoria has been a member of the organising committee for all three national OSWA conferences held in Canberra. In 1991, Victoria joined the oncology social work team at Canberra Hospital and subsequently worked in NSW Health in oncology and palliative care in rural and regional NSW. While there, she had the opportunity to work with Aboriginal communities to improve their access to cancer services. Victoria now provides professional supervision to a small number of oncology and palliative care social workers.
