Speaker: Lauren Bradley

Regional Lead Cancer Support Advanced Clinician – Social Work, Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora – Te Toka Tumai, Auckland New Zealand

Lauren Bradley (BSc, BA(Hons), MSWP(Prof)) graduated from the University of Auckland Masters of Social Work Professional programme in 2014. Since graduating she has worked in community-based roles and spent the last 9 years working in the Cancer Support Psychology and Social Work Service at Auckland City Hospital in Te Puriri o Te Ora – Regional Cancer and Blood Service. Lauren works as the Regional Lead of the service for the Northern Region, supporting the implementation of psychosocial care for oncology patients in four districts as well as holding a clinical role.

Topic 2: A retrospective review of access to psychosocial and supportive care for people who relapse after Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplant (A-SCT)

Speaker: Kevin Bloom

Senior Social Worker, Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney, Australia

Kevin has worked as a NSW Health Social Worker since 2006 with roles in Mental Health, HIV and Palliative Care Services. Within the Haematology Service at Royal North Shore Hospital, he has a special interest in therapeutic work with people living with blood cancer that aims to increase meaning, improve relationships and reduce distress.

Kevin received the inaugural Kim Hobbs Award for Best Research Presentation at the 2024 OSWANZ Conference
