Alison is an OSWANZ Senior Advisor, having previously been President of OSWA from 2013-2016. She completed a Master of Advanced Social Work (by Research) in 2013 with her thesis concentrating on exploring the psychosocial needs and patient experience of women with cervical cancer.

From 2003 – 2016 Alison held multiple roles at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre Melbourne, primarily as Manager of Social Work. Since 2016 Alison has been Manager of Social Work and Cultural Diversity at The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
