Tim has been a social worker since graduating from University of Queensland in 1985, and has worked in paediatric, adolescent and young adult oncology since 1994. He was Snr SW Oncology and Assistant Director of Social Work at Royal Children’s Hospital in Brisbane from 1994 – 2002, then following 3 years as Team Leader of the Child Development Service in Qld Health he became General Manager of National Services at Redkite in January, 2006. Redkite is a national cancer charity supporting children and young people diagnosed with cancer, and their families. He has been Head of Professional Standards and Practice at Redkite since 2013.

Tim completed a Master of Counselling Degree from Qld University of Technology in 2005 and is committed to collaborative, strengths based, and narrative practice.
